About Us
We believe that the #1 priority for every leader and team, is to be more caring and mentally healthy and enjoy growing together.
In the very best teams, people care about each other, they have each other’s back and enjoy each other’s company.
- There are simple strategies we all can learn that make a big difference.
- Most people want to help but don’t know how to.
- We is much stronger than me.
“We show we care by listening with empathy, so that everyone feels understood.”
“Together we can stop little problems getting bigger.”

Meet our Co-Founders and Team
“We know that leaders need to learn new skills to prepare for rising stress, and the riskiest thing is to keep doing the same thing.”

Graeme Cowan is the author of the best selling BACK FROM THE BRINK book series, a Board Director of R U OK?, and host of our The Caring CEO podcast. Over the last 12 years he has helped thousands of leaders and teams to be more caring, mentally healthy, and growth oriented. He is a regular media commentator on workplace resilience in volatile times.
Graeme loves hiking and has so far ticked The Kokoda Trail, Lara Pinta and Camino Way off his bucket list. He attributes his writing skills to reading every copy of Rugby League Week when he was in Year 12. See Graeme Cowan’s Online Speaker Showreel – Building caring and mentally healthy teams
Brenden Carter is also the Founder and Creative Director of The Learning Hook, a longstanding, multi-award winning elearning solutions company. As an educator and content producer, he’s always been passionate about learning and particularly how we turn our knowledge into action. Having worked with many large organisations, he recognised a common need for more support and training to create mentally healthy workplaces. See more of Brenden’s work in the elearning industry here: The Learning Hook
Little known fact: Brenden once wrote and illustrated a children’s book called ‘Rectangle Rex’. Ask him about it sometime and he’ll probably have it handy and take you through each page (whether you want him to or not).

Amine Haddad, is our Director, Strategic Partnerships. With over 30 years’ experience in senior leadership roles across a range of industries in Australia, USA, China and South East Asia, he has a deep understanding of the challenges leaders face in creating a culture of care and high performance and is there to support the successful implementation of our WeCARE365™ programs.
Amine’s passion is cooking. His Christmas Ham has become legend among family and friends.
Amine has also taken his love for cooking for others and volunteers on the weekend at a homeless shelter, cooking breakfast and lunches.
Jenny Thomson, is our Operations Manager. She has worked in the public and private sectors in operational, administrative and community consultation roles. Jenny is committed to working with our clients to ensure a quality outcome. She is also passionate about reducing the stigma around mental health conditions.
Unlike Graeme, Jenny doesn’t enjoy hiking, and would rather spend her time baking whilst listening to 70s music or trying to stay upright during tree pose in hot yoga. She’s pretty certain that if picking the slow lane at the supermarket was an Olympic sport, she’d be a gold medalist.

We are delighted to work with Mental Health Innovations, who have helped us create a USA and Canadian (also with French translation) versions of our WeCARE365 course. It is wonderful to work with partners who share our values. Stephane Grenier, their Founder and President can be contacted at s.grenier@mhic-cism.com – or contact us and we will be happy to provide an introduction
